"I just want to say a very big thank you for the excellent food last Sunday. I was so impressed with both the quality of the presentation and the beautiful flavours. I keep feeling like recapturing the moment all over again. My son’s 21st party was made all the more enjoyable by your lovely venue and friendly willing staff. Not all the expected numbers turned up, but those that came had a fantastic time so thank you for making this such a memorable occasion. " The Chapel Bar is the most fantastic venue for a wedding. The things that attracted me most were, firstly the incredible menu that Alex came up with, (locally sourced, where possible, beautiful food for amazing - and I mean amazing, value, tailored exactly to our tastes and requirements. Secondly, how brilliant the staff were, all of them. They said yes to every one of my requests, weird and fussy as some of them were, and even colluded with guests before the wedding to give us a major surprise on the day.

The building is excellently laid out with two floors, and a gorgeous first floor terrace. We can't thank the managers enough for their unerring customer service (and I can be quite fussy!) and their help and support. They followed, exactly how I asked them to set up the tables and the decorations, and they looked like they were really enjoying themselves too! Many of my guests said it was the best wedding they had been too, and the competition was stiff. Without The Chapel Bar and all they gave, it might not have been the best day of our lives!!"
